Morris Salamandyk

1938 - 2006.  Morris was raised in Rouseau River and started playing violin at the age of 12. At age 14 he started performing at Ukrainian Weddings. Throughout his musical career Morris played with such groups as the Interlake Polka Kings and the Ukrainian Old Timers and his own group the Winnipeg Melody Kings. Morris recorded an album with the Winnipeg Melody Kings. 

Morris played guitar with the Brothers Band.
