Lorna Krystik

July 4, 1949 — March 3, 2025

In memory of the late Lorna Kristick. Lorna was an integral part of the history of the Ukrainian Musicians Association. She served as a member of the board of directors beginning in 2002, and it was a position she held for 15 years. During her tenure, she took on the position of secretary, treasurer among other roles. She was always available to take on any task and did so with pride and enthusiasm. She was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and loved immersing herself in UMA activities, and this passion was evident in everything she did with the organization. Lorna was an accomplished musician and played violin in her dad's band, The Goldenaires. Lorna passed away on March 3rd, 2025 while vacationing in Texas. On behalf of the Ukrainian Musicians Association, we offer our heartfelt condolences to Lorna's family and friends.
