I started playing with my late husband, Ernie Shewchuk, in 1965 when we formed a group called Freddie Chetyrbok & the Meadowlanders.  That fall, we recorded an LP of Ukrainian songs and music.  The following year, we recorded another. 

Throughout the years we played for countless social functions such as wedding and other social events.  Many times we volunteered our music for a fund raising social in aid of burned out families or in aid of some medical need.

Some of our band member are deceased, but with the help of other Musicians, I continue to volunteer our music to entertain at Care Homes, Senior Complexes, or accompany “Canada's National Ukrainian Festival Choir” at the annual Festival in Dauphin. 

The Ukrainian Music is very much enjoyed by all.
